Steps of Hair Transplant

The procedure of hair transplant is the same in almost all the treatments.

Consultation

It is recommended to consult with an expert hair transplant surgeon to evaluate the condition of female baldness and determine if you are an ideal candidate for a hair transplant. During the consultation, the surgeon will examine the recipient area, select the donor area, and finalize the planning of your hair transplant.

Fitness

Hair transplantation isn’t necessary. Therefore, to avoid any risks or side effects, it is advisable to undergo physical fitness and blood tests beforehand.

Marking

Hairline marking or marking of the recipient or baldness area is an important step to understanding how your hair regrowth and density will be after the procedure.

Anesthesia

Giving local anesthesia to the recipient and donor areas to numb them and prevent pain during the procedure.

Slit Creation

The creation of slits is a crucial step in female hair transplant, and it requires more attention as females need a natural-looking hairline. Unlike males, females are not fully bald, so we use advanced techniques such as modern crystal diamond sapphire blades to create trans-channel slits in the recipient area without shaving their head. Due to this, women do not need to trim or shave their heads completely.

Extraction

Our expert hair transplant surgeon uses a very fine and sharp serrated 0.8 mm punch with zero damage ratio to extract hair from a specific donor area. This hair can then be used to cover existing long hair or temporarily hide the donor area until it has fully recovered.

Implantation

In this step, we need to re-implant the hair grafts to the recipient area of the body. This is done using a specially designed guide to ensure that the depth, direction, and angle of the hair grafts are perfect and natural-looking.

Final Results

For optimal hair regrowth, it is important to follow post-operative instructions for faster recovery.

After a FUE hair transplant, it’s normal for the implanted hairs to fall out between weeks 4 and 12. However, the density of hair will gradually improve, and the final result will be visible within 12-18 months of the surgery.
